Search engine friendly

BlueBoard SiteBuilder utilizes Google Sitemap Protocol in order to inform search engines about URLs on your websites that are available for crawling. The protocol was written to be highly scalable so it can accommodate sites of any size. It also enables webmasters to include additional information about each URL (when it was last updated; how often it changes; how important it is in relation to other URLs in the site) so that search engines can more intelligently crawl the site.

In order to improve search engine indexing BlueBoard SiteBuilder allows the content manager to:
  • edit keywords for every single page
  • edit part of the URL of any page, e.g. for "Services" page the URL can be http://www.blueboard.biz/services/page.html.
  • maintain some of the Google Sitemap Protocol properties - priority of the page and how often it changes

Sitemap files are automatically created every time when new or updated content is published.
